Dr. Lewis was born and raised in Indian Mound, Tennessee. He earned his B.S. degree from Austin Peay State University and his D.V.M. from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville. Following graduation, Dr. Lewis became a practice owner and partner of North Stewart Veterinary Clinic and Gateway Animal Care Group, PC in 2000. Dr. Lewis is a member of the AVMA and AAEP. His interest is in large and small internal medicine and chiropractic care.

He and his wife Kim, who is also a veterinarian at North Stewart Veterinary Clinic, have two children. In his spare time, Dr. Lewis enjoys hunting and fishing, and working on his cattle farm.
